Hope y’all enjoy this lil’ clip from my song “Turn Me Loose.” It’s not totally finished yet, but I couldn’t resist giving you a lil tasty. It’s sorta like when your mom was making a cake and she let you lick off the extra batter from the spatula. It’s no cake, but mmm…yes.
This tune is one of those break-up songs that happens a little while after the immediate break-up song. It’s a “post post break-up song.” Post Break-Up songs are all about the shock, the intensity of pain, and all that cheery goodness. But Post Post Break-Up songs have a special, reflective edge that I just can’t get enough of. Here are some of my faves…
